In an independent study, the College of Engineering's Department of Chemical & Biological Engineering set out to experimentally validate hydrogen production from the silicon–water reaction — and did.

Patent-pending

SiFusion's dehydration and hydrogen-generation technology is patent-pending in Canada and the United States, and is held under an exclusive license from the inventor.
